Zone Status
A Zone can have multiple statuses, indicated by the zone colour and subtitle. Check out the list below for an explanation of the different zone statuses that are available. Depending on your alarm system model, one or more of these statuses may not be available.
1. Closed
Zone with no border. Only the word 'Closed' is written on the zone. This zone is ready to arm.
2. Active
Zone with a red border. The zone is currently active. A door may be open or there is movement at one of the passive infra-red zones.
3. Bypassed
Zone with an orange border. The zone has been bypassed and will not trigger an alarm.
4. Alarmed
Zone with a red border. The zone is currently, or has recently, triggered an alarm.
5. Supervision Lost
Zone with a red border and exclamation mark symbol. Your zone has lost contact with the alarm panel. For wireless zones, the zone battery power may be too low. For wired zones, the wiring may be faulty.
6. Low Battery
Zone with a red border and exclamation mark symbol. Your wireless zone has a low battery
7. Tampered
Zone with a red border and exclamation mark symbol. The zone has been tampered with, please check the sensor to make sure all is in order.
